The We-Swim app ("the App") was developed and is operated by a private individual. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

Information We Collect

The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

We collect only anonymous data to improve the service:

• Device type and operating system
• App opens and number of unique users (without personal identification)
• The beach selected for viewing

This data is collected via PostHog and is used solely for general usage analytics.

Location

The App does not request access to your device's location and does not track your whereabouts.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or transfer information to third parties.

Weather and sea data is fetched from external services:

• Open-Meteo — wave and weather forecasts
• Stormglass — real-time measurements

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised update date.
